This large 'Maison de Maitre' in a Corbiere village has just come back into family hands - it used to be owned by the local wine growing family but was sold off after the war. Last year it came up for sale and the family decided to reclaim it. After a year's worth of restoration and renovation the house is ready to receive visitors.
Whilst retaining some of the old features like beautiful marble fireplaces, it has been completely overhauled. The house is on three floors and all the rooms are very spacious and comfortably furnished. There is a bathroom and a wc on each floor of the house.

Clients' comments:

Thank you for your service, everything at the villa went really well. The Villa was magnificent and the surroundings excellent, we had a wonderful time, thank you. Phil Clucas

Wonderful house!! The best we have had in five visits to France over the last decade. The kids loved the pool and the garden, their grandmother enjoyed the cool of the house. We all enjoyed the local restaurants, the excellent facilities in the house and the friendly welcome from the family and from others in the village! Andy Carver

By the house is a very large terrace with a large wrought-iron dining table, and a built-in BBQ. At the other end of the terrace is a shady 'tonnelle', with comfortable seating. The terrace has a low wall with gate, separating it from the rest of the garden, which keeps toddlers from wandering off to the pond and swimming pool.
The mature walled garden of 1000m2 has fruit trees, a fine palm tree, plenty of lawn and a delightful pond with cascade.

At the end of the lawn is a 8mx4m swimming pool with rounded steps (and an alarm), a 2m diameter "baby pool" (not heated) from which water cascades into the swimming pool.
Paved terrace with plenty of sun loungers. There are neighbours so the garden is partially overlooked, but it is a big garden with plenty of trees so it still feels very private.

2 parking places in the garden
