This exceptionally well-situated beach front villa for rent near Cap d'Agde has one of the most desirable positions and views. It is right on a sandy Mediterranean beach with a gate leading down to the water. The house has been well decorated and equipped. Rarely does one find a house with such an extraordinary position which can sleep up to 18 guests.
The simple interior, good furnishings and fabulous sea view make one feel as though floating on water or aboard a yacht. The large terrace has steps leading directly down to the broad sandy beach.
The fabulous large terrace with outside furniture makes it a what the French call 'salon d'ete' - a summer living room. All you need to relax and watch the sea from the comfort of the covered terrace!
The house stands in a recent residential development, and is conveniently placed for walking along the beach to most amenities, like cafes, restaurants, a small supermarket and a market. It has neighbouring houses on either side, but is not overlooked.

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you for your help and organisation of our holiday. We had a truly fabulous week, and the weather was just amazing! The house is great - it really worked well for the two families. .....All in all it was a great base for a great holiday, and we would recommend it highly to others....it is a really impressive property .......and I think it would be worth mentioning that the house is totally secure (i.e. young children can't escape) with remote-controlled sliding gate entrance, parking in under-house garage, and lockable gate to beach. Entrance hall leading into the kitchen.

The kitchen is equipped for holiday use with a fridge freezer, cooking appliances as well as a serving hatch to the dining room.
The open plan living-room appx 50m2 is simply furnished and has a nice modern fireplace and plenty of comfortable sofas to relax in. It is connected by large bay windows which lead to the terrace allowing for plenty of light and stunning sea views.
Above the lounge is an imposing mezzanine with french doors leading to another terrace with views on the beach. Perfect for watching the sunset over the sea.
There are 4 simply furnished bedrooms on the ground floor.
1st bedroom 18m2 double bed in 160 cms with sliding doors to terrace & sea views. En suite shower, with bath & bidet and a separate wc. Adjoining dressing room. Rolling blinds.
2nd bedroom - Double bed in 160 cms. En suite shower.
In the corridor a separate wc, and an independent shower room.
3rd bedroom Double bed in 160 cms giving on to terrace with sea views, sliding French doors and rolling blinds.
4th bedroom Double bed in 160 cms, with sea views on both sides, and sliding doors & rolling blinds.

There is a 5th bedroom with 2 single beds, a sofa, and an 'ensuite' shower room & wc.

There is a built-in BBQ right on the terrace.
Steps with a gate leading directly onto the beach. It's a quiet family beach, safe for children because of the tide-breakers. The waters are very shallow, and children can wade in and walk up to the rocky tide-breakers, and look for small crabs etc.
There are also two restaurants within walking distance. One is a small informal cafe literally 2 minutes from the house, and the other is a more sophisticated restaurant.
The property is completely walled and gated, with remote control gates, which is again good for child safety.

Rochelongue approx 500m walk along beach : baker, grocer, bicycle hire, cafe bar and restaurants. Local market on Monday mornings.
Grau d'Agde - a small old fishing village where small boats come in with fish and the local catch. 500 mts walk to a restaurant called 'Le Vague', which is right on the beach. Shops, fruit & vegetable sellers, bread.
Cap d'Agde appx 4 km (or approx 2 km by foot). All services. 'Aqualand' (huge water-slides, etc.) 27-hole golf course (approx 3km), tennis (approx 5km), boat hire, offshore shark fishing, aquarium. Wide choice of restaurants.
Agde approx 3km. Old historic town and fishing port, founded by the Ancient Greeks. Nice market, excellent seafood restaurants.
Beziers approx 20 km. Major market town, noted for its bull-fight 'Feria' in August.
Pezenas approx 20 km. Attractive medieval town.
Narbonne approx 42 km. Famous cathedral.
Montpellier approx 55 km. Large university town.
Carcassonne approx 100 km Largest fortified medieval town.
Nimes approx 105 km Roman temple and arena.
