This family holiday villa is in the heart of Autignac, a rural wine making village in the Languedoc, just a 3 minute stroll from the baker and your morning croissant or the bar/restaurant for an evening meal.

With 3 bedrooms, air conditioning throughout, private pool and terrace with BBQ, it has all you need for a great family holiday.

Situated between the mountains and the Mediterranean you can take your pick which direction to go in to explore the region or laze by the pool in the South of France sunshine.

The villa is set over two levels - ground floor and first floor and has air conditioning throughout.

Entering from the front door brings you in to the open plan living room which has comfortable seating - 3 seater sofa and 2 chairs - occasional table, TV, fireplace, dining table to seat 6 and doors leading out to the terrace and garden. There is a dining table on the terrace for those alfresco meals.

The kitchen is well equipped with a Gas Oven and 5 ring hob, microwave, dishwasher and a breakfast table for 6.

The garden is private, walled with plenty of greenery and a mature Palm.

From the terrace by the house there is a gate that can be closed securing this area from the pool. On this terrace is a dining table for 6 and a built in BBQ and Plancha for meals outside.

Six wide steps down to the garden and pool area, with an attractive well feature to one side. One further step down to the pool area.

The pool is 8m x 4m x 1.40m, has Roman steps for easy access, a pool cover and an alarm. It is surrounded by soft artificial grass and there are sun loungers for you to relax in the South of France sunshine.

South of France Family Holiday Villa - walking distance to the village

This holiday villa is well located for accessing everything the region has to offer - wine villages, countryside, Mediterranean beaches, culture, history and restaurants.

Not far is the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc and is well worth a visit for the amazing views.

Walking, Biking, Canoeing on the river Orb, horse riding and off road pursuits are all possible, as well as water activities on the Lac de Salagou.

Autignac is a traditional wine producing village with many individual caves, amenities and a cafe-bar restaurant.

Magalas - apprx 5km - a larger village with 2 good restaurants, a
boulangerie, a good fruit and veg market twice a week and a large supermarket which has fuel.

Laurens apprx 4km - Abbaye de Sylva Plana Restaurant and winery

Faugeres apprx 6km Excellent wine from this 'Appellation Controlée' area.

Bedarieux apprx 10km market town with all services and an Intermarche supermarket.

Lamalou-les-Bains apprx 16km Golf course

Caroux Mountains apprx 20km. Less than half an hour's drive to spectacular gorges, rock pools, canoeing, rock-climbing.

Lac du Salagou apprx 25km (watersports) and Cirque de Moureze, a 'chaos' of limestone ravines and towers, are also less than half an hour's drive away.

Beziers apprx 28km. Large market town, famous for its lively summer Feria, flower market on a Friday, the Canal du Midi and Les Halles indoor market.

Mediterranean beaches apprx 32km.

Pezenas apprx 33km. Attractive medieval town, with shops, bars, restaurants and a colourful Saturday market.
