This old French manor house or Maison de Maitre as they are called in the South of France, has been lovingly renovated to an extremely high standard.  

The outdoor area really is an amazing place, it is almost like being at a hotel (you just have to serve yourself!) 

Set in a lovely Languedoc Village which has a couple of restaurants, including  tapas and a pizzeria. The wine from the vignerons is excellent and they even supply a famous UK chef.

South of France Holiday Home for 10 people

The lounge is as you enter the property, with 2 comfortable sofas. To the right is the fantastic kitchen and dining area. No expense has been spared in the transformation of this bespoke kitchen. An authentic butcher's block, large American style fridge freezer, breakfast bar with stools. French doors lead to the large outside terrace and swimming pool.

The spiral staircase takes you up to 2 of the bedrooms. (This can also be accessed by the main stairs)

To the left of the lounge is the main staircase which leads to the 2 upper floors.

A large utility/laundry room with wc can be found along the corridor.

First Floor

To the right there are 3 bedrooms and to the left a bathroom shared by Bedrooms 1 and 2 with large walk in shower, free standing roll top bath, twin sinks and wc.

There is a connecting door to bedroom 3 , this is great for families with young children. Bedroom 3 can also be accessed by the spiral staircase for privacy and the connecting door locked.

Master Suite (bedroom 4)  Large open plan room with exposed beams (low in certain places), comfortable sofa, free standing bath, fixed double bed (150cm), air-conditioned.

Very large separate marble bathroom across the landing with big twin shower, twin sinks and wc.  

There is a connecting door to Bedroom 5  (Twin or Double bed) again this is great for families with young children. Bedroom 5 can also be accessed by the spiral staircase for privacy and the connecting door locked. Ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and wc.

The 9 meter long heated pool is surrounded by a tiled terrace and can be secured with an electric cover.

The highlight of the outdoor area is the bar and  lounge area.

Puissalicon  a typical South of France wine-producing village with several excellent wineries,  family restaurants, Tabac

Beziers approx 10km The cathedral dominates this busy market town, rising majestically above the river Orb. The lively Feria in August lasts five days; bull-fighting, paellas, flamenco dancing, and partying in the streets until the early hours of the morning.  Beziers has a wonderful food hall with local produce where you can buy meat or fish and have it cooked for a few euros at the market itself while drinking some local wine. 

Beaches - South of France beaches apprx 20km. Valras, Portiragnes, Serignan, Vias, Marseillan and Sete all have wonderful beachside restaurants - the owners house book gives you the best options.

River Swimming and Kayaking:

Reals near Murviel is literally 10 minutes away with river swimming in the Orb river on the doorstep

Roquebrun approx 30 mins has a canoe and kayak base and wonderful river beach as well as a few great restaurants

Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc approx 20km north of Thezan are the mountains and rocky gorges of the Caroux mountains. Great canoeing on the river Orb

Agde approx 25km. Old historic town and fishing port, founded by the Ancient Greeks. Nice market, excellent seafood restaurants

Cap d'Agde approx 30km. 'Aqualand' (huge water-slides, etc.) 27-hole golf course. 
Narbonne approx 35km. Once the capital of Roman Gaul. Famous cathedral
