This is a beautifully renovated 4 bedroomed (with air-con) South of France village house marrying in perfect harmony the old warm exposed stonework with modern steel and glass. The renovation of this holiday home was done by a young architect who was determined to suffuse living spaces with light giving the house an 'open' plan feel.
This property has 2 outside areas, one large walled courtyard houses the heated 9m x 3m swimming pool, summer kitchen with fridge and BBQ, garden chairs and a table for eating outdoors, the second is a small entrance courtyard accessing the house, partly covered.
This holiday home offers both authenticity and high quality, a great place to spend a family vacation in the South of France.
Air-conditioning in all 4 bedrooms.
The local bar/small shop sells fresh bread, there is also a Pizzeria.
South of France Holiday Home sleeping 8
The entrance to this lovely South of France holiday house is through the original wooden 'cave' doors - they open onto a small courtyard from where the house is accessed via large glass doors.
The large glass sliding doors open out completely losing all division between the 'exterior' and 'interior' space, of this holiday property. Most of the materials used for the renovation are authentic and 'organic' - original stonework, wood, salvaged beams and plastered ceiling 'a l'ancienne'. Walls are decorated with lovely modern paintings.
Ground Floor:
The main living area and fully equipped modern kitchen are ingeniously centred around the courtyards. giving the house and all the rooms extra volume, but also a homely intimacy.

Fully equipped modern kitchen and laundry room with a double sink and washing machine.

Independent wc.

This South of France holiday property has 2 outside living areas.
A large walled courtyard that houses the 9m x 3m swimming pool, Summer kitchen/Bar with a fridge and BBQ, garden chairs and a table for eating outdoors.
This courtyard is a veritable sun trap, a small part of the courtyard is under cover so offers shade if necessary.
The heated swimming pool is alarmed, has Roman steps and is not overlooked (heated from April to October and included in the price).
The second courtyard has a cactus garden (no spikes!) and is a great place to escape for a little peace and quiet!

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home! It was truly a perfect holiday. We will be back! From the Housebook, June 2024.
We had a fantastic holiday, thank you. The house is charming and everyone has enjoyed it. Minevre was excellent and Nicholas sends his regards to you.Family H S, South France Villas Client July 2024
A wonderful haven of peace, far from the stress of daily life. The villa would work for larger groups as well as for our small family with plenty of separate areas to either be together or on your own for private time. We felt very relaxed and very quickly fell into the French way of life! From the Housebook, July 2024
We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts couldn't do enough, meeting us and driving with us to the house, showing us around the property and providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The house was impeccable, a beautiful rustic French property with lots of charm. The pool area was great and there was sun from late morning to the beginning of the evening. The village was great to walk around and the bakery was a good stopping point for pastries and the morning baguette! From the Housebook, June 2024.
A dream stay in this haven of peace...isolated from the world yet in the middle of the village, we found it difficult to leave the house to go and visit the beautiful Minervois. For 8 people it was very comfortable in the 100m2 living room, the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the top-notch summer kitchen and the sun shelters in the courtyard. The most friendly welcome from the owners with a good bottle of Pouzols wine. Lots of very wise advice on where to visit. This address is at the top of comfort and charm and although the photos are beautiful, the reality is even more convincing. Only one desire to return there as soon as possible and even in periods out of season because the region is also very beautiful in September during the harvest period. And to finalise we loved it! From the house book July
Seven of us had the most magical week-long stay at the Maison Minervois. The house is gorgeous, with ancient walls but modern appliances and comforts. The town is charming and quiet, but just a short drive from many sites and activities. Andre was there to answer any questions and to provide assistance at a moment’s notice. The pool is clean and a lovely sanctuary on hot days. We were enchanted by the “indoor-outdoor” living spaces which crated a very open feeling and could be accessed through glass doors. This house is truly unique and special, we hope to return some day! Clea and family - July

We just stayed at Maison Minervois, a group of 6 adults, and loved it. What a perfect villa and so beautiful. Please pass on to Andre and his wife how much we enjoyed their property. It was a perfect size, lovely pool and yard and it had great beds! Andre brought us a list of places to visit and restaurants to try. Very helpful. We also loved visiting Languedoc and the Aude. So very pretty and interesting. Thank you. Charlie and Jane, Mike and Liz, Jane and Jim, September
