Villa Nadege is an exceptional and quite luxurious large French country house which has been finished and decorated to an extremely high standard with a large attractive garden, a huge summer kitchen, hot tub, gym, and a private heated pool measuring 12m x 6m.

It is situated on a hill in a picturesque typical Provencal village on the edge of Languedoc, an area of great natural beauty with great views; an intimate landscape of small hills with limestone scarps and hardy Garrigue woodland. Yet, the property is only approx 30 minutes drive from Nimes and Uzes, so plenty of interesting historical sites to visit and excellent restaurants are close by.

This spacious holiday villa has 280m2 of living area, and has been furnished with great attention to detail and style by the charming owners. They have created wonderfully light and airy living spaces. The bedrooms are furnished with a pleasing mix of antique and modern furniture and all have air conditioning.

The real jewel is the 3000m2 of garden, with a lush lawn and some old olive trees, where one dines alfresco under the shade of the covered summer kitchen. The heated 12m x 6m swimming pool has an extensive paved terrace around it with plenty of sun-loungers and there is a 5/6 seater jacuzzi.

The holiday villa is well placed for visiting both Provence and Languedoc and also for airport access since it is only apprx 35km from Nimes and approx 80km from Montpellier airport.

Ground floor:

Entry hall with a magnificent staircase open to top floor, with 7m of height, leads directly to a spacious open plan dining/living room (apprx 35m2) with an attractive stone fireplace, 2 separate sitting areas, both with comfortable sofas and a few armchairs. Large flat screen TV with satellite channels and home cinema and hi-fi. French windows lead to pool-side terrace

The fully equipped kitchen (appx 24m2) with doors leading directly to the garden is next to the dining room. There is a large American fridge, dish washer, electric oven, induction hob, flat screen TV, large storage cupboards. An extendable dining table seats up to 12.

Off kitchen there is a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, double sink and facilities for ironing.

Down the corridor is the downstairs bedroom (double bed 160cm) with an en suite shower room (no wc) and doors leading out to the garden.

From the other side of the entrance hall 3 steps lead to a fully equipped gym (approx 21m2) with large windows out to the main entrance gate. Piano, flat screen TV with a few English channels, mirrored cupboard all along the wall.

10 steps lead up to the mezzanine bedroom (21m2) housing 3 single beds, which is 'open' to the gym below.

First Floor

Stairs with a wrought iron hand rail; 18 steps lead to the first floor.

to the right a bedroom with 2 single beds, next to it is a bedroom with a double bed (160cm). Opposite these two bedrooms there is a large bathroom with a bath, a walk-in shower, a double wash-basin and a wc.

Bedroom with 2 single beds, and at the end of the corridor there is a Master bedroom with a double bed (160cm) and an ensuite bathroom with mirrored wardrobe, a bath, a double wash-basin, a shower (quite narrow) and a wc.

Large Family Holiday Villa near Languedoc and Provence with Heated Pool and Hot tub

The garden (3000m2) has an automatically watered lawn, mature olive trees, and long reaching views over the surrounding hills to one side and a Medieval village on the other. There are no immediate properties overlooking the villa, although there are neighbouring houses at the back and to the side of the property.

The Villa's heated swimming pool is 12m x 6m (minimum depth 1m and deep end is 1m80) has an extensive paved terrace around it with plenty of sun-loungers, which can be lit up at night. It has two alarms according to French regulations, and Roman steps. 

There is also a 5/6 seater hot tub which is open all year.

An amazing state of the art covered summer kitchen and pool house of 120m2. This structure with large timbers and Provençal tiles houses an ultra modern summer kitchen with a built-in BBQ, a 5 gas ring cooker, 2 fridges, a beautiful stone sink, a curving designer bar, and a hi-fi for evening 'soiree entertainment'.

There is also a modern, wide walk-in marble shower, a sink, and an independent wc. Good garden furniture in wrought iron, and plenty of sun loungers on the extensive pool terrace.

Nimes approx 34k - Capial of Roman Gaul, superb arean still used for concerts and bullfights today, and the "Maison Carrée", a second century temple.
